On 16 June 2025, an Investment Roundtable entitled “Environmental Sustainability in Tajikistan: Unlocking Green Investment Opportunities” was held in Brussels. This event was organised in collaboration with Diplomatic World magazine.
Diplomatic World was honoured to join forces with the Mission of Tajikistan to the EU, the Honorary Consul of Tajikistan in Belgium Mr Klaus Van Dyck, and Finnova Foundation, to co-organise an investment roundtable within the framework of the working visit to Brussels by Mr. Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
A rich discussion with members from policymaking circles, academia, industry, the private sector and international financial institutions allowed participants to:
- Become acquainted with Tajikistan’s environmental sustainability and green transition agenda aligned with EU green priorities and the Global Gateway Strategy;
- Identify green investment opportunities and potential areas and specific projects for cooperation;
- Explore green financing mechanisms and the promotion of public-private partnerships.
