The Museo Picasso Málaga is presenting Pablo Picasso: Structures of Invention. The Unity of a Life’s Work, a new presentation of the collection that features 141 works by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), ten of which have never been seen before in Spain. All the works on display belonged to Pablo Picasso’s private collection.

For three years the museum’s galleries will show the overall unity of Picasso’s work rather than dividing his output into particular periods or styles. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics and graphic art will reveal new connections between the artist’s work while defying traditional classifications.

This new display has been made under the academic supervision of Michael FitzGerald, Kluger Family Professor of Art History at Trinity College, Hartford (USA), and in collaboration with the Fundación Almine y Bernard-Ruiz-Picasso (FABA).
