We invite artists to take part in the 10th Days of Contemporary Art (DOCA) international festival
The festival’s topic is ‘WHAT IS YOUR NAME’, This is the phrase exchanged at the beginning of a conversation. It signals the beginning of our contact, and stands as a sign that we are ready for conversation. Behind this phrase is the desire to know another.
The DOCA festival as a place and event creates a system of relationships and projects a new landscape of subjectivity. DOCA is a meeting place that produces a unique community, a paradoxical space formed and embodied simultaneously by all yet owned by none.
That is a field where the New Subjectivity emerges on the edge of fractures and cracks.
